As Key Account Manager (m/f) Offshore in the Cable Accessories business unit you will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the account strategy in one of our most important customer segments, in particular for offshore interarray cable fittings, on the national and international market. You will coordinate specific sales activities while keeping a clear focus on increasing our market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.


Your responsibilities:

  • Independent development of the current portfolio of cross-border key customers in the growing offshore wind industry (e.g. cable-, turbine- and switchgear-manufacturers, contractors, planners and windpark developers)
  • Responsibility for growth rates and margins as well as a coordinated price strategy
  • Analysis of current market trends and creation of action plans
  • Expansion and maintenance of business relationships with key customers
  • Set-up, design and implementation of customer-specific training as well as presentation and active sales of the NKT power cable accessories products
  • Design and negotiation of customer agreements in accordance with legal, economic and strategic framework conditions and in cooperation with various specialist departments
  • Proactive performance and growth analyzes, budget compliance, submission of binding forecasts and initiation of necessary measures in the event of (impending) deviations from targets
  • Defining the product strategy of our offshore wind industry customers in coordination with product management, product engineering and R&D


Your background:

  • Successfully completed studies with a focus on economics or technology
  • Several years of professional experience in a sales or business development position in a complex technical environment, ideally in the cable, cable accessories or offshore wind market
  • Extensive project experience, especially in interface management
  • Excellent commercial, technical and legal understanding, also in the drafting of contracts
  • Strong customer and success orientation paired with pronounced analytical and strategic skills
  • High level of commitment, persistence and resilience
  • Good knowledge of SAP and CRM systems, as well as excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills, other languages desirable
