Project Manager (m/f/d) Sustainability & Improvement Projects

The Program Management department ensures that the business line Applications identifies and executes major business projects successfully, oversees all major ongoing projects, structures and manages them in a joint program with efficient and effective project management methodologies, standards and tools.


Your responsibilities:

The Project Manager Sustainability & Improvement Projects is responsible to develop the Sustainability Agenda of the business line and to drive this forward actively. You are responsible for the development and to own sustainability agenda of business line. In addition, you identify improvements across the business line value chain (from R&D to sales support). You will ensure that sustainability projects are executed in quality and time and will take over the role as lead for other cross-functional projects, e.g. across sales and operations. There you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic and/ or cross-functional projects and will drive content development. Further key tasks are:

  • Steer resources across departments to ensure that results are reached in quality and time
  • Escalate, discuss and resolve resource conflicts with the Business Line leadership team


Your background:

To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator with influencing skills and be able to lead on an informal/functional level. You have proven project leadership experience in an industrial goods environment and budget, cost and profitability management skills. Other important points are the knowledge of resource management tools and the credibility as a project leader. Additionally, you dispose of an expert-level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches (e.g. Project and Portfolio Management Methodology – PPM). Further important qualifications are:

  • Experience at cross-functional change/ improvement projects
  • Experience within driving sustainability projects
  • Excellent university degree in business administration, engineering or similar
