Take the exiting opportunity to be the key person for our most important customer in Rome and develop the existing cooperation on HV and EHV Underground cable systems and focus on upcoming Interconnector together with the international Sales Team. 


Your Responsibilities: 

You are responsible for sales and marketing of high voltage and extra high voltage cable systems, Offshore and Onshore, for Italian and Eastern Europe customers. Together with the regional Senior KAM Director you will create, plan and implement sales strategy and strategic sales and business development initiatives on country and regional level in alignment with global sales strategy. Also, you contribute to establish site specific sales targets and ensure sales achievement through regular oversight, definition and implementation of action plans as needed to deliver results together with the regional Senior KAM Director. Identification of opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determination of plans for acquisition and coordinates resources will also your daily business. Additional tasks: 


  • Manage assigned Client Accounts and business segments w/i territory 

  • Gather, consolidate and share (via SAP CRM system) information about market development, pipeline, market price, etc. 

  • Responsibility for generating leads (pipeline) to provide for required sales to assist in adequately loading Cologne and Karlskrona factories respectively  

  • Analyze the competitive landscape and define strategies to strengthen NKT position regionally  

  • Be responsible for developing and strengthening long term relationship with customers to bring in leads and contribute to complete sales cycle 

  • Set up business plans and execute sales plans in collaboration with other departments 

  • Work in close collaboration with Cologne and Karlskrona Commercial & Tender functions to convert leads into sales 


Your Background: 

You are a very goal-oriented, independent and structured person with a high analytical way of working and with interest in complex challenges. Additionally, you have strong communication skills, are agile and proactive. Further requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree preferred in Electrical Engineering or Master of Business Administration

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing/doing preferred cable or high voltage project business

  • Seasoned use of MS Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)

  • English and Italian business fluent is a must, German, French and/or Spanish is a bonus
