Junior Project Planner (m/f/d) Offshore & HVDC

You will take on an important function within the teams for the project execution of high-voltage cable systems in the offshore & HVDC sector. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling and cost control in all project phases.

 

You will be responsible for the following aspects: 

Your agenda will include supporting the planning of large marine and overland cable projects in the bidding and execution phases as part of a project team and ensuring that projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in line with internal standards. You will be responsible for monitoring project progress and regularly analysing project critical phases to ensure they and project milestones are on track, highlighting variances or scheduling issues. You will also work closely with the engineering, production, logistics and installation departments. Further key tasks are:

  • Preparing and participating in project reviews and communicating progress and control issues to the project team, including suggestions
  • Effectively communicating project information and client feedback to internal stakeholders of the project


To connect a greener world, you should have the following skills and experience:

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, business administration or a comparable field. Ideally, you have some professional experience in project planning within a project management set-up. Furthermore, you have knowledge of engineering and project management techniques as well as IT skills in all relevant Microsoft Office applications. A high degree of self-motivation, curiosity and the desire to learn about new technologies round off your profile. You also have the ability and willingness to travel regularly to clients and construction sites. Further important qualifications are:

  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to complying with all relevant workplace safety guidelines
  • Fluent in English and German
