Job Title:  Factory Controller (m/f)

Description: 

Primary tasks of the position:

  • Support in financial closures during month, quarter and year end
  • Continuous preparation of analyses and reportings as baseline for decision-making
  • Supporting the preparation of the monthly reporting, as well as at budgeting and forecasting procedures
  • Contribution in the development and improvement of steering tools, e.g. in terms of costs, inventory, efficiency, productivity, invests
  • Support in establishing and steering cross-functional controlling processes
  • Contribution in developing a key function between Operations, Finance and Project Controlling including business partnering for local production
  • Preparing reportings and results of analyses in a suitable manner for top management as well as for local departments
  • Support in executing, controlling and documenting stock takes
  • Execution of projects and ad-hoc requests

 

Required qualification and experiences

  • Academic degree in economics or suitable degree
  • Professional experience for minimum 2-4 years in a comparable position, in a manufacturing company would be beneficial
  • Experienced in Business Warehouse systems as well as planning systems for projects and production
  • Sound knowledge of SAP R/3 FI/ CO/ MM/ SD/ PP and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Think-Cell)
  • Experienced in cost and performance accounting
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills
  • Independent, structured, proactive way of working, highly self-motivated
  • Team spirit, reliability, confidentiality and loyalty are natural for you
  • You are strongly result-oriented and pragmatic with a strong hands-on mentality
  • Resilient and distinctly able to accurately work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills as well as very good German and English language skills both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel
