As a publicly listed company, the Investor Relations function is an important link between NKT towards equity investors and analysts. There is an ongoing dialogue between NKT and the investment community to ensure information about business and financial performance as well as other relevant topics is shared and presented externally.

In the role as Investor Relations Specialist you will be an important contributor to secure the communication to stakeholders in the investment market. The key deliverables include preparation of external financial reports, presentations, communication plans and being a trusted advisor to the executive management on investor related matters. You will report to the Head of Group Treasury and Investor Relations and be part of this team based in our Headquarter in Brøndby.


Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Manage relationships and communication with equity analysts and investors together with Group Management
  • Preparation of annual and quarterly financial reports in cooperation with Group Finance and other departments
  • Development of non-financial elements of the reports
  • Preparation of earnings calls including presentations and communication plans
  • Ongoing development and preparation of investor presentations
  • Coordination and participation in investor roadshows and meetings
  • Plan and conduct capital market days and other investor events
  • Preparation of stock exchange announcements together with Group Communications
  • Analysis and monitoring of competitors’ financial performance
  • Ensure full compliance with rules and regulations for a listed company in close cooperation with Corporate Affairs
  • Equity capital market transactions 
  • Advise Group Management on an ongoing basis on IR strategy and critical IR topics


Qualifcations and skills

  • MSc in Economics, Finance or similar
  • Experienced financial background (preferably 3-5 years)
  • High-level Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills is an advantage.
  • High level proficiency in English - both verbal and written. Danish is preferred, but not required
  • Structured, positive and resilient personality
  • Proactive, diplomatic and solution-oriented with ownership of tasks and outcomes
  • High drive and ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Thriving with a high work pace and flexible and quick to adjust
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion as NKT A/S is a listed company


Expected travel days are 20-30 days/year. This will primarily be across Europe related to investor roadshows and events.
