Production Planner

Secure the best possible flow

As an Production Planner you will secure the best possible flow in our rewinding department to ensure timely deliveries to our customers. You will also assure efficient stock planning through intensive interactions between production sites and supply chain departments in Europe and Customer Service department in Denmark and proactively keep all the stakeholders informed about changes in plan. It is important that you focus on the entire supply chain and can see optimization options in the process around planning to increase the output and customer satisfaction. You will also support our main MV plant planner in Denmark acting as deputy during the absence 

Primary tasks


  • Daily planning of semi-finished products for rewinding from our sister companies
  • Create and release orders in SAP APO
  • Maintenance and validation of master data
  • Stakeholder Management. Daily proactive communication with colleagues and other departments, primarily Customer Service and Production sites in Europe.
  • Inventory management in your area, to secure most optimal Net Working Capital
  • Back up for Production Planner including occasional issuing of production orders and monitoring of raw material inventory in collaboration with Procurement.



You might have a bachelor in Operations Management (Production engineer) or you have obtained your competences in other ways. We expect you to have fundamental Supply Chain competences from previous job experiences and the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders.


Most importantly, we believe that the following increase your chances of success in the job:

  • Preferably 2-3 year of experience within production planning in SAP PP/DS (APO) but skills in SAP MRP or other planning system is acceptable
  • You are an advanced IT-user with analytical mindset and strong Excel skills
  • You are known as a service minded team player with high attention to details and the ability to work with many deadlines.
  • You have good communications skills & enjoy presenting to senior management
  • Experience within supply planning and a solid understanding of and interest in the S&OP process
  • The job requires you to be fluent in both Danish and English
