Offer Specialist



We are looking for an Intercompany Sales and Offer Specialist to ensure world-class support and service

Working closely with our internal customers, we develop, manufacture and install efficient and technologically advanced medium and high-voltage cables as well as cable accessories, playing a significant role in the green transformation.  


Supporting internal projects, customers and sales team
As Intercompany Sales and Offer Specialist you are the first point of contact to our internal customers, handling all customer inquiries and support intercompany counterparts in the order process with information and service. Your will also maintain price lists for intercompany business. 
Your daily work includes collaboration and communication not only with clients but with multi-disciplinary functions internally.

Your primary tasks will be: 

  • Handle inquiries from other NKT Business Lines; via email and phone Prepare offers: Choose products, give pricing proposals or use existing price lists, check product availability and align offer with Offer Team Manager CCS 
  • Coordinate technical clarifications with Tech Service and Engineering
  • Send offers to the customer
  • Maintain intercompany pricelists
  • Support customers in the order process and with information needed for their projects
  • Handle interface tasks between internal customers and other functions in the company (e.g. with Technical Service or Product Mgmt.)
  • Take part in separate projects representing CCS if needed

You will be a part of a highly skilled and tight team on our site in Alingsås working closely together in an open and straight-forward climate.

Service minded team player
To be successful in this role you have an open mindset, are good at prioritizing and have the ability to quickly get an overview of tasks to be handled and make your own priorities in line with the company strategy. You take great accountability for your work tasks and are structured, meticulous and thorough. Another key is of course to have a great sense of service mind and customer focus as well as being a reliable team player. Proficient communication and collaboration skills are other important parts to fit in this role.

In addition to the above you have some years’ experience from offer creation processes/customer support ore a university degree in relevant field. You have a high understanding of the sales process cycle, are comfortable with commercial terms as well as with Incoterms and have knowledge around price structures, margins and profit & loss.
Additionally, your CV includes: 

  • Experience from ERP system, SAP experience is beneficial 
  • Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Practical experience from offer creation processes and customer handling 
  • Good know-how of and comfortable using Excel for calculations and other operations
  • Understanding about price structures, margins, profit & loss
  • Understanding about the sales process cycle 
  • Communicate with ease with different types of customers and adapting to different cultures
  • Technical know-how/basic understanding is a plus
